NumBots

NumBots is all about every child achieving the “triple win” of understanding, recall and fluency in mental addition and subtraction, so that they move from counting to calculating.

KS1 students can access NUMBOTS at school and will be able to logon at home also.

Times Table Rockstars

Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice. The programme has successfully boosted times tables recall speed for millions of pupils around the world over the last 11 years.

KS2 students can access TTRS at school and will be able to logon at home also to practice their times tables.

Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is a computer-based program that we use to monitor reading practice and progress. It helps teachers guide students to books that are at their individual reading levels. Students take short quizzes after reading a book to check if they've understood it.

Some KS1 students, and all KS2 students, have access to Accelerated Reader to take quizzes on books they have read. You can monitor your child's progress by clicking on the link to the left and logging in using their school Accelerated Reader sign-in details.

Spelling Shed

Spelling Shed's approach to spelling involves the relationship between sounds and written symbols as well as using morphology to help spell through meaning.

The carefully selected word lists and engaging activities provide opportunities to incorporate phonics and meaning to strengthen spelling skills and build vocabulary acquisition.
