Governors

What is the role of the Governing Body?

The role of the Governing Body is to conduct the academy with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement. This is facilitated by providing a strategic direction for the work and the improvement of the academy, supporting, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the academy and ensuring accountability for the standards achieved and the quality of education.

What do I do if I want to get involved?
Governors are elected for a set period of time so periodically vacancies do arise. If you are interested in becoming a Governor please contact the Chair of Governors via the school office.

There is also some useful information on the Cambridgeshire County Council website.
